About
I have been making music since childhood, especially through piano and singing. I already started composing as a teenager, but until now I had never released my own songs publicly.
After a legal career as a jurist, attorney, and district judge, I decided some time ago to fully dedicate myself to music. I completed my piano teaching diploma and currently work full-time as a piano teacher, choir director, and teacher of elementary music education.
I live in Haldenstein, a small village in the Swiss Alps that politically belongs to the city of Chur, the oldest city in Switzerland.
About my artist name:
“Ibex” refers to the Alpine ibex. It is native to the region where I live and also represents a local symbol that appears in various coats of arms, including those of the city of Chur and the canton of Graubünden. In this sense, the name is a reference to the place I call home.
It also reflects aspects of my personality, my Capricorn zodiac sign, and qualities such as determination, patience, and loyalty.
